Silly question but do you need the steam version of Msfs or does the Msfs store work with it too?

Hoping my mod range sim hardware will allow people like me be able to fly into frame eating major airports like Miami, JFK, LAX, Heathrow,etc.

Could you explain or share a video on getting reset on the approach AFTER a go around procedure. For example, if the go around puts you in a hold, my flight plan seems to disappear, so I manually vector myself (when no vatsim ATC online) and then manually enter a direct to the first waypoint on the approach chart.. Not sure if this is correct procedure though. Thanks!

I bought it. It glitches quite a bit. Nearly unusable in current state. Won't connect with the sim, tells you to taxi to runways that are not there on taxiways that are not there (although I use mostly all payware scenery), the devs used abbreviations in text where the AI reads out the letters of the abbreviations, like "eff-tee Worth Center" for Ft. Worth Center, etc. Needs work still but potentially awesome.

as someone who flies helicopters i can't wait for msfs 2024, the ground textures are important for low level flying.

The only issue I have with BeyondATC is it doesnt have generic ATC coms with AI aircraft to add to the realism experience. So you feel alone

Yes it doubles my frames as well. But it seems to have problems with text and sometimes i get flickering and lags as well. My system is a Lenovo i7-12700F, 32 GB RAM, 2 TB SSD, RTX3070. I play on a Asus 1440p 27 inch Gaming TUF Monitor at 144 Hz. I play at 2K Resolution at High to Ultra settings. I turned off VSYNC in MSFS, just set it at the NVIDIA Control panel to ON and max frame rate to half of the Monitor refresh rate so in my case 72 FPS. I do get problems when installing the new NVIDIA Drivers, that after installation MSFS won’t start giving me a Crash Message, when I reinstall the NVIDIA Driver from May 2024 it worked again, does someone have similar problems or does your MSFS work and starts with no issues with the latest drivers?

It's actually already out on pirate bay, but it's a huge download, so have a literal spare hard drive. Great graphics and physics so far!

Does this work for every controller or do we have to check if the controllers have a Hoppie logon code? Most in America I never see using Hoppie unfortunately, or do we always just connect to the current ground airport:? Also do we need to switch our logon facility everytime we transfer from tower, to approach freq, etc?

Quite interesting, but the price is ridiculous. There are many addons that are much more advanced, i.e. they require a lot more work from the developer, but they cost similarly or less. Fun fact, 1 month of World of Warcraft subscription costs the same.

If I remember correctly I had that awfully looking arrival too recently, Gavin. And I think the problem was that the STAR did already include that NUKRO point and by adding it as the VIA it added it once again to the plan which created that mess. So, in short: The fix was to leave away the Via NUKRO and to only add the STAR and No Via 🤷🏻‍♂️

So, at this point, which FMC is more "complete"? The iniBuilds version or this one? And what is still missing that the Fenix (or real plane) has? Is it just RNAV/RNP approaches and independent MCDUs and then we're "done"?

To record MSFS with more fps, you have to select "lossless scaling (null)" from the "game capture" tab in OBS. Make sure to select "capture specific window".

WinWing for sure. Just got mine FCU and its very good for that price and no TAX like MiniFCU. You can get FCU both EFIS and MCDU for around 400 Pounds.

For me Lossless Scaling doesnt tripple my fps it only Smoothen them but Maybe thats for me

I am lucky enough to have been using SI since it first became available and the recent progress has been impressive. Initially the descent and approach were poor with little improvement over six weeks or so but in the last two weeks, like you found, the descent, vectoring and establishing runway ILS have been excellent. I enjoy listening to other local users and look forward to interactive traffic.

Apart from the FBW A320NX I have no addons at all on my MS202 (I just see lots of people having problems with addons so it put's me off). I'm happy with it as it stands, I'm a very casual flier, unlike many of the people here I'm sure, but I would like an improvement in the standard ootb ATC.
